This is a side project of mine. Branding, package and web design for a handcrafted e-Liquid. Galaxy Zone enters the market as a premium line of high-quality e-liquid with exotic and unique flavors.

BACKGROUND
The rising prices of traditional cigarettes have further encouraged the demand for e-liquids and e-cigarettes globally, thereby driving the market. E-cigarettes are gaining popularity in the market, thus increasing the demand for various e-liquids to enhance the vaping experience. The rising demand has encouraged new brands to enter the market offering new flavors of e-liquids. The biggest challenge was to stand out, due to that developing a logo as well as a brand ‘persona’ that would be distinct and memorable was the focal point. It needed to exude premium, quality and create a buzz that would drive sales in a saturated market category.
BRANDING
To “color” something means to infuse it with energy or emotion, and that’s exactly where we’re at in our brand identity journey. The Galaxy Zone offers 5 flavors of e-liquid. Each one has a different color to infuse a unique energy to every single flavor.
The Galaxy Zone logo is linked to the mission of the brand "We take your all day vape juice ABOVE AND BEYOND". The idea was to create a simple and strong logo that would allow the use of colors in the package design and evoke a premium vibe for the brand. The symbols and typography were inspired by space elements.
The package design was created to reinforce the premium qualities that the brand represents. The goal was to design a package that would inspire curiosity in the customers and to stand out from competitors.
WEB DESIGN
As mature as the vaping industry has become, there are still many e-liquid brands that haven’t invested greatly in the development of their websites. That creates a potential opening for the brand. As a new brand, trustworthiness and engagement are keypoints. A premium looking website provides a perfect opportunity to increase the desirability of the product in the customer’s eyes. The Galaxy Zone website presents a combination of perfect text and the ideal imagery to attract the target market. The idea is to present a modern and simple design to stand apart from the competition.
MARKETING
For this niche, social media has a great potential, especially Instagram, to connect with customers, strengthen the brand and cultivate loyalty.
